Another cuttlefish! This time I was trying for something in between cartoonish and realistic. What do you think? Did I succeed?

Needle-felted wool over pipe cleaners (in the arms) with eyes of paper clay. He's about five inches long and three inches wide. Very small! :aww:

I dyed the wool myself, both food coloring method and an acid dye (for the wonderful blue).

I stumbled upon this adorable little guy when searching under 'cuttlefish' in Etsy. I must say, this is a phenomenally detailed piece of work. The hand dyed felt, the paper clay eyes, each and every millimeter of him is just gorgeously done. This has to be the best cuttlefish I have seen in any media, and by no means am I exaggerating. I do hope to commission you in the near future, it would truly be an honor. :love: It is creations like this which make my day
