The idea of flamingos with pink ribbon around their necks begged to be drawn. So I drew it in pencil in my sketchbook. I decided to add the pink in Photoshop. And that's what I've been doing for the last three days--making the sketch pink and tweaking the pink in Photoshop! My eyes burn from all the pink! Seriously, the whites of my eyes are all pink and bloodshot. And my dreams are full of flamingos. I can't stand to look at this anymore, but I hope I got it to the point where it's not too hazardous to view.
I learned a lot about Photoshop from this experience. I never really messed with the different layer options before. Plus I found out how to change the PPI for my scanner.
Oh wow. You'd think with something using all of the same color scheme, things would mesh together, but the way this is executed is both skillful and gorgeous!
Thanks! ^_^ Yeah, I was worried about it all fading into itself and just being this ... pink page. So I slaved over the value and intensity adjustments in Photoshop and really stressed myself out over it, haha. Not something I'd recommend, but I guess it worked out. Thank you again!
You're welcome. It's how I get with projects I really want to go well, except, well, I have a lot more thought to put into anything I'm going to write and being in a bad slump for the past several months isn't helping there.
