Makyla and Kaysa

I made this as a birthday gift to my wonderful and totally talented friend, Valkyrie! (She has an awesome name too, huh?) These are the telepathic half-elf twins from her novel(s) in progress titled The Lost Mage Trilogy. They are loosely based off my twin and me. The one on the left (Makyla) is a healer and gets along amazingly well with animals. (Hence the wolf.) The one on the right (Kaysa) is a warrior and has plant magic - that's what's happening with the staff. By the way, Kaysa's left-handed. When Valkyrie gets published, you should definitely read her books!
I colored this with colored pencils and it was very difficult! I also used some copic markers and pens. I tried to make the lighting like an extreme version of sunset, but it turned out a little weird...
