Portrait: Dad on Pilgrimage

Almost two years ago, I went on Baha'i pilgrimage with my twin sister and my parents. It was the most amazing experience I've ever had. Pilgrimage takes you to Haifa, Israel and the Shrine of the Bab, the most beautiful place on the planet that I've ever seen. I can't express how gloriously gorgeous it was - definitely not in words, and I can just barely show some of it to you in the photos I took. (I'm not a photographer, but I was motivated by the beauty around me to learn how to use my dad's digital camera - seriously, I learned how to use that camera on this 9 day trip.)

This is one of the in-focus shots I got. My dad, resting on one of the benches on the lower terraces surround the Shrine of the Bab, and the reflected beauty in his glasses. (You can also see me with the camera if you look closely. Heehee.)
